Durability (FauxCrete™ Posts compared to other types)
             Real rock posts are made of single rocks mortared together and can come loose depending on how it was constructed, its application and the inevitable (Vehicles, Baseball bats, Plows, Most of all, Time) and take hours to repair.

             Fiberglass/Epoxy/F.R.C. posts are lightweight which makes them easy to handle and install, cheap to make and usually comes out of molds so labor cost is cut drastically. Usually there are no issues with these type of posts but these posts are prone to extensive damages when struck by any hard moving object. Usually un-repairable damage occurs costing you a lot more money in the long run.

             Natural Granite posts are beautiful and are durable to an extent. Granite has a very high compression strength but are VERY weak when it comes to tensile strength. This means a simple single swing from a 8lb sledge hammer can turn a once beautiful 6’ post into 2 or more pieces which are un-repairable. While working at a granite dealer years ago, I quickly learned how brittle granite really is and started to walk away from anything other than steps.

            Cultured concrete rock posts are constructed monolithically with internal aggregates, reinforcement and admixtures. This means you have very high compression and tensile strength. There are no rocks to become loose, no tuck pointing required.

Our posts are resistant to UV, cracking, fading, chipping and efflorescence.

Our posts can not rot, deteriorate or fall apart over time.

 

      Customization.

            These posts can be customized to your specific needs very easily. There are many different types of earth tone colors, textures and rock patterns to choose from.

 

Cleanliness.

            These posts stay looking clean and are very easy to rinse off when you feel they look dirty. No need for high pressure washing or tough chemicals. You can rinse with a garden hose very easily. These posts will not discolor over time like clean natural rock can.
